However, imperfectly applied make up can direct to discomfiture. So you should know the proper way of applying makeup. The following makeup tips make clear the procedure of applying the foundation and concealer.

1^st Step: Before applying makeup on your face you must know your skin to determine whether you have oily skin, dry skin or normal skin. Assessment of the skin will also decide the skin tone, eye color and other parameters pertinent in the choice of cosmetics.After assessing your skin you can able to decide which products are suitable for your skin, from among the many cosmetics available. After choosing right products, you will now be prepared to advance to the next step, which is the real application of makeup.

2^nd Step: The 2^nd step of makeup tips is you should properly clean your face and hand before applying any makeup.. This gets free of dirt and bacteria which may have accumulated on the skin. You can then use a thin layer of moisturizer and permit it to soak into the skin for a while. The moisturizer will assist make your face soft and smooth. . Afterwards, wash in lukewarm water and tap the face dry with a towel. Make sure your towel is always dirt free. A dirty towel is likely to extend bacteria on your skin creating to skin problems like pimples, especially if you have an oily skin. If you desire, you may use a primer; this increase the texture of the skin making the foundation last longer. They are obtainable in most makeup shops.

3^rd Step:The next stage is to apply the foundation. You must choose a foundation which matches your skin color. When you mix the foundation, it should melt into the natural skin color without leaving any visible trace. Most foundations have light off white or pink based colors. However, a yellow based foundation has been approved to be most suitable for all skin colors. Trial the foundation on the jaw line or on the fore head to make sure that it suits your skin. The foundation should be applied to cover up the entire face, starting the hairline down into the neck. If the foundation is not properly mixed into the skin of the neck, you may finish up looking as if you are wearing a mask and  so you should properly blend the foundation and make it invisible.

The foundation can also be used when it is  wet. In that case, mix up  some foundation with water or moisturizer and using with a brush or  sponge or puff. Apply the foundation around the eye area but do not apply any over the upper eyelids..

 You can also use concealer. It is similar to foundation but it is much thicker than foundation. Generally concealer is used to cover pimples, dark circles around the eyes,  any spots on the face. The objectives of the concealer is to make the skin color more even.Mainly concealer is used any specific area or spots ,on the other hand foundation is used to  all around the face.

Concealers may be liquid, semi solid, pencil or felt tip. You can use any types whichever you like..When applying the concealer, take small amounts on the face and then using the pad of your middle finger, tap it in using a rolling motion. Never wipe it in. Make sure the concealer has mixed up  properly. After that  take little loose powder using a fluffy brush to set it in.
